Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern your use of this website and our contact forms. Plain reading, short sections — please look through them before using the Site.

Last updated August 23, 2026 · Governed by Irish law

01 Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using this website (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (the "Terms"). If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Site.

The Site is operated by CE Equipment ("we," "us," or "our"), based in Cork, Ireland. It presents our EU authorized representative and product compliance services to business users — primarily manufacturers established outside the European Union.

02 Use of the site

The Site is provided for business-to-business informational purposes. You may browse our service information, read our resource guides, and use our contact forms to request a quotation or ask a question.

You must not:

  • use the Site to transmit anything unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or the systems that serve it;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Site, its servers, or network connections;
  • use automated scripts or bots to scrape or collect data from the Site;
  • impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, without notice or liability.

03 Not professional advice

Please read this section carefully.

The content on this Site — including our resource guides, FAQ answers, and readiness check — is general information about EU product rules. It is not legal advice, and it is not a compliance assessment of your product. Regulations change, and how they apply depends on your specific product and circumstances. Always verify requirements against the official texts or seek professional advice before acting.

No authorized representative relationship, and no other engagement, is created by your use of the Site or by anything you read on it. We act as an authorized representative only under a separate written agreement.

04 Quotation requests and contact forms

When you submit your details through a form on the Site, you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate, and up to date. We use what you submit to respond to your inquiry and prepare your quotation — see our Privacy Policy for how we handle that data.

Submitting a form does not create a binding agreement for services. It starts a conversation. Any engagement — including acting as your EU authorized representative — is governed exclusively by a separate written service agreement signed by both parties.

05 Intellectual property

All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, images, and code — is our property or that of our licensors, protected by Irish and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site in accordance with these Terms. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or publicly display any portion of the Site without our prior written permission.

If you submit material to us (for example, feedback via a form or email), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use and reproduce it for internal business purposes, and you warrant that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

06 Disclaimers

The Site and all its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement.

While we work to keep the content current, we make no representation that the information on the Site is accurate, complete, or up to date, and we are not responsible for typographical errors or omissions.

The Site links to third-party websites — including official EU legislation on EUR-Lex and other regulatory resources — over which we have no control. We do not endorse and are not responsible for their availability or content. You access them at your own risk.

07 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages — including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption — arising from or related to your use of, or inability to access, the Site or its content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability in connection with any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site exceed €1,000 (one thousand euros). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

08 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your submission of any content or information to the Site, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

09 Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts to resolve any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site.

10 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
