Our Service

EU Authorized Representative

Under Regulation (EU) 2019/1020, most products that require CE marking can't be placed on the EU market by a non-EU manufacturer without a responsible economic operator established in Europe — and the General Product Safety Regulation (EU) 2023/988 extends that requirement to most consumer products. As your Authorized Representative, we become that operator: we hold your technical documentation, our name and EU address go on your product, and we answer to the market surveillance authorities on your behalf.

What's included

What we take on for you.

Your EU name & address

Our company name and EU address go on your product labeling and packaging — satisfying the requirement for an EU contact under Regulation (EU) 2019/1020 and the GPSR.

Document custody

We hold your EU Declaration of Conformity and technical file, and keep them available to EU market surveillance authorities for as long as the rules require — typically ten years.

Authority liaison

When a market surveillance authority anywhere in the EU has questions, they come to us. We pass every request to you promptly — and if an authority ever decides to withdraw or ban a product from the market, you hear it from us immediately.

Annual renewal & review

The service runs year to year. At renewal we ask for units sold and the jurisdictions you sold into — and on request, our team can add an annual review of your technical documentation and its continuing compliance.

Our process

From first contact to the EU market.

  1. 01

    Quotation

You get a clear quotation up front, detailing each step of the service. No obligation.

  2. 02

    Documentation

You send us copies of all relevant documentation for the product to be covered.

  3. 03

    Vetting

We review everything. If something's missing, we tell you exactly what — and our CE compliance consultants have the expertise to help you close the gap.

  4. 04

    Mandate

We both sign the mandate: the written agreement appointing us as your Authorized Representative for the products it lists.

  5. 05

    Labeling

We provide the exact name-and-address block to print on your labeling and packaging, with guidance on placement.

  6. 06

    On the market

You sell across the EU. We liaise with the market surveillance authorities and provide technical documentation when requested — renewing annually.

Readiness Check

Do you have what it takes to enter the EU?

These are the ten documents we ask every manufacturer about before taking them to market. Tell us what you're shipping, walk through them one by one — and for anything you're missing, we'll tell you exactly where to get it.

10 documents · ~5 minutes

First — what are you taking to the EU?

The ten documents we check are the same for every product, but the standards and tests behind them aren't. Pick your equipment and we'll tailor each question to it.

Have everything? Here's what happens next.

Request your quotation, sign the mandate, send us your documents, and update your labels with our EU name and address. From that point you're on the EU market — and we're your named point of contact for the authorities.
